This role is essential to our clients’ success and involves teaching new skills, reducing challenging behaviors, and helping families thrive.
Key Responsibilities Of a Bilingual Behavior Technician
- Communicate effectively in both Spanish and English to clients, their family members, and other team members
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in home & community settings
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies created by the supervising BCBA
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress
- Communicate regularly with supervising BCBA on client needs and progress
- Follow ethical guidelines and treatment protocols set by the BACB and Tealway
Required:
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written communication)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clear background check and ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
- Comfortability with navigating electronics (iPad, video calls, apps)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and families
- Reliable transportation to client homes
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays
- Supportive supervision from experienced BCBAs
