About the Role:
As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a vital role in assisting patients through medically assisted treatments while providing essential techniques for coping with addiction. You will conduct both individual and group sessions, support crisis management, and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to guide patients toward recovery and long-term wellness.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility.
  • Develop, review, and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Complete comprehensive Bio-psychosocial assessments.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services at scheduled intervals.
  • Work closely with families and significant others to support the patient's recovery journey.
  • Address patient grievances and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Develop effective aftercare and discharge plans.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support patient care.
What We're Looking For:
  • Licensure: Must be a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
  • Experience: Prior substance abuse counseling experience preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Empathy & Understanding: A non-judgmental, compassionate attitude towards our patients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
  • Integrity: Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.

Salary Range:
Salary ranges from $27.00 to $30.70 an hour.
The salary of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, experience, education, specialty, and training.
