About The Position

An Inpatient Psychiatric Unit is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide coverage 35 hours per week.
The facility is located in Westchester County, New York.
This inpatient adult psychiatry position offers flexible weekday hours, ranging from 7:30 a.m.3:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.4:30 p.m., with no call requirements. The provider will manage a caseload of 1012 patients, with an average inpatient length of stay of 15 days. The unit has 29 beds and is staffed by 2 psychiatrists and 1 psych NP. The facility uses Cerner as its EMR system. Both board-certified and board-eligible candidates are welcome. Typical cases involve adult inpatient psychiatry. The broader health system includes 35 full-time psychiatric providers, consisting of 25 psychiatrists and 10 psychiatric NPs. Telepsych services are not utilized.
