Description:
A locum tenens position is available for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
This role involves providing long-term coverage until a permanent provider is onboarded.
The coverage follows a hospitalist model with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
Inpatient hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM with call coverage over weekend nights.
The facility has a capacity of 12 beds.
Providers will have patient encounters of approximately 10 per shift.
Proficiency in pharmacotherapy is preferred.
Experience with various clinical areas related to psychiatry is desired.
This role does not involve pediatrics and focuses solely on adolescents.
