About Us:
The Baltimore Academy has established itself as a premier provider of Full Day Special Education services for students in grades 6 through 12. The 12 month school program serves male and female adolescents ages 12 through 21 who are exhibiting serious emotional and behavior disorders and who are not yet able to function in less restrictive school settings.
We are looking for a Full-Time LGSW or LCSW-C, with experience working with children for our special education program.

We are looking for a Full-Time LGSW or LCSW-C, with experience working with children for our special education program.
Responsibilities:
- The overall responsibility of the school Social Worker is to manage all cases of students enrolled in The Baltimore Academy and to assure provision of all social work and counseling services listed on the students, IEPs.
- Licensed LGSW is required to provide counseling services to youth grades 6-12 in a school setting. Work also requires regular consultation with school staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed LGSW
- Master's degree
- 0-1 years of experience
Preferred area of college/graduate concentration:
- Master's Degree in Social Work - preferred
- Master's Degree in Counseling - CPC required
Preferred/required area of work experience:
- Prefer 1 year experience working with adolescents in a psycho educational setting.
- Prefer 1 year supervised experience with individual, group and family therapy.
