About The Position

Specialty: Psychologist
Shifts: 2 weeks per month, M-F (8a-430p) 100% Travel in Northern AZ

Job Details:

• Treating Tribal Veterans
  
• Provide Psychological assessments and treatment of patients.
  
• Assist patients through counseling and by use of other psychotherapeutic techniques
  
• Administer and interpret psychological tests which are used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders.
  
• Psychologists carry out the full range of work in their specialized area and are professionally responsible for the soundness and validity of their recommendations, reports, and services.
  
• Average 2-5 patients per day
  
• EMR: trained to use both VA and I.H.S EMR systems
  
• Strong computer skills necessary
  
• Recent relevant experience treating general/internal medicine cases required
  
• School must be APA accredited at the time of graduation
  
• Paid training
