BASES/BRIDGES Non-Certified Behavior Technician
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.25 hours per day; 185 days.
Available: Commencing with the 2025-2026 school year. Official start date is August 25, 2025.
Salary & Benefits: In accordance with the support staff collective bargaining agreement. Full benefits. Salary range is $22.28-$24.46 per hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Accompany assigned student throughout the school day to provide behavioral and academic support
  • Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education Teacher and behavior analyst
  • Attend related service sessions with student (ex. speech, OT, PT) and reinforce work in these goal areas
  • Work with other specialists and to implement additional specified goals and objectives
  • Implement programs developed by teacher, behavior analyst and/or consultant with fidelity
  • Maintain accurate data and graphing on all designated programs
  • Plan and implement all aspects of systematic instructional sequences within self-contained classroom, inclusion environments, and reverse mainstream environments
  • Meet regularly with behavior analyst, special education teacher, support team
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Provide reports of student progress when deemed necessary by teacher and/or team
  • Participate in ongoing training
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; minimum of two years college experience or evidence of having passed the ParaPro Exam required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of special education practices (autism)
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Must be highly motivated and self-directed
