A full-time School Psychologist position is available to support K-12 students during the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role requires a dedicated professional to provide psychological services that promote the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student success
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall development of student support plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies and regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification appropriate for K-12 educational settings
- Experience working with a diverse student population across the K-12 spectrum
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Knowledge of current laws and regulations related to special education and student services
