A full-time Social Worker opportunity is available in the Cicero and South Holland, IL areas, serving K-12 students. This contract role spans the entire school year, providing critical support within an educational setting focused on the well-being and development of children.

KeyQualifications and Requirements:

  • Illinois Social Worker (SW) license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment
  • Ability to provide counseling, support, and resources to students and their families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Work Schedule and Location:

  • Location: Cicero, IL, and South Holland, IL
  • Full-time position with a set schedule of 32.5 hours per week
  • Contract position throughout the academic school year

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions
  • Connect students and families to community resources and support services
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
