Pay Information
$220 to $250 per hour
About The Position
Schedule/Availability Requirements: Flexible with a one week on, one week off or two weeks on, two weeks off based on the availability of the Psychiatrist. On-call hours will be scheduled during weeks on. One or two evenings on call during the week and 1 weekend a month.
FTE: 1.0
Duties: Daily rounds on the adult psychiatry unit, attend daily multi-disciplinary teams meeting, communicate with patient family or natural supports, provide psych consults on the inpatient units, complete documentation
Required Procedures: NA
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: Registered Nurses, Mental Health Techs, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant, Social Worker, Adolescent Psychiatrist, Manager, Director
Reason for Coverage: To increase adult census
Additional Details / Questions Answered by Facility:
Admissions per day – Depends on the need, on average now we see 2-4. Patients/day – Goal is 12-18
Types of cases – Behavioral Health: Suicidal ideation, active aggression, etc

Job Requirements
  • Board Certification – REQUIRED (can accepts Board Eligible Candidates)
  • North Dakota State license or IMLC (LOQ in hand) - REQUIRED
  • Residency Requirements/Fellowship (Adult Psychiatry) - REQUIRED
