Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, providing psychotherapy and counseling services, and offering clinical supervision to graduate-level trainees. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic skills, a commitment to professional development, and a collaborative approach to care.
Hours: 16 - 18 hours a week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, administer and interpret psychological tests.
- Provide psychotherapy, behavior therapy, and psychological counseling.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff and provide consultation to individuals, programs, and community organizations.
- Complete all required documentation and service records in a timely manner.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training seminars.
- Develop assessment plans in collaboration with psychology assistants.
- Provide in-service training and clinical supervision to psychology assistants and trainees.
- Review and approve psychological evaluation and treatment reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise psychology assistants, practicum students, and psychology interns assigned to the evaluation unit.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current Ohio State License in Psychology.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological evaluation and clinical supervision.
- Experience in training and mentoring psychology assistants and graduate students.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Keyboard data entry is required.
