About Us:

Karner Psychological Associates (KPA) stands as a leading counseling and therapy practice in the Albany region, encompassing Guilderland and Clifton Park. Position Available: We are currently seeking New York State–Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs) to join our team in Glens Falls, NY. This part-time position (10 hours/week) offers the option for in-person or hybrid work and involves providing therapy services to clients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

Provide individual and family counseling in a behavioral healthcare setting.
Demonstrate a strong generalist background with a focus on treating diverse populations.
Maintain documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with other clinicians and support staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred experience in treating children and adults.

Requirements:

Licensure in the respective field: PhD/PsyD, LCSW, LMHC.
Strong generalist background and experience with diverse populations.
Comfortable working with children, adolescents, and adults.
Credentialing with major insurance plans is helpful but not required.
