Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to individuals, particularly focusing on those with mental health challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting clients in achieving their personal goals and improving their overall well-being.

Duties

• Conduct individual, family and couple counseling sessions to address various mental health issues via telehealth.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize ICD-10 coding for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide direct support and behavior management strategies to clients.
• Work collaboratively within a clinic setting, fostering a supportive environment for clients.
• Address gender issues counseling and provide specialized support tailored to individual needs.
• Support clients with special education needs, ensuring appropriate resources and interventions are available.

Experience

• A valid Georgia State license as a Professional Counselor is required and (6) hours continuing education (CE) training on telemental health counseling.
• Experience working in the industry of mental health is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and coding systems, particularly ICD-10.
• Proven skills in behavior management and case management within a clinical environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
