Location: On-site | Chester County

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

Keystone Behavior Solutions, in partnership with the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), is seeking compassionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to lead ABA-based clinics within school settings. These clinics will provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children aged 3-5, integrated closely with early intervention services. This full-day program aims to ensure a seamless transition between pre-school special education classrooms and the clinic setting, promoting continuous skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Individualized Treatment Planning

  • Initial Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments using tools such as the VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program).
  • Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP): Develop customized plans for each child based on assessment results, addressing specific needs, goals, and strengths. Review and update these plans quarterly.

Behavioral Interventions

  • Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Implement evidence-based interventions such as Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT).
  • Positive Behavior Support (PBS): Utilize proactive strategies to promote desirable behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors, incorporating Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).

Skill Acquisition Programs

  • Communication Skills: Enhance verbal and non-verbal communication using techniques like the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices through a verbal behavior model.
  • Social Skills Training: Facilitate structured playgroups, peer modeling, and social stories to foster interaction and social understanding.
  • Adaptive Skills: Provide training in activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence.

Data Collection and Progress Monitoring

  • Real-Time Data Collection: Continuously collect data on target behaviors and skills using digital tools and software for efficient tracking.
  • Regular Progress Reviews: Conduct weekly team meetings to discuss progress, update ITPs, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Completion of Daily Clinical Notes: Maintain thorough documentation and complete daily clinical notes to ensure accurate records and facilitate billing for services.

Family Involvement and Training

  • Parent Training Programs: Conduct workshops and one-on-one training sessions to empower parents with ABA techniques and strategies.
  • Home-Based Support: Extend clinic programs into the home environment through regular consultation and support.

Collaborative Approach

  • Interdisciplinary Team: Coordinate with BCBAs, Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and special education teachers.
  • Integrated Services: Ensure seamless collaboration with early intervention programs to maintain consistency across settings.

Supervision and Training

  • BHT Supervision: Provide supervision and training to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), ensuring they effectively implement ITPs and utilize ABA techniques.

Service Provision

  • Service Delivery: Provide the specified number of services as detailed in each student's Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP).

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
  • Experience in conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for young children with developmental and behavioral challenges.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and techniques, including DTT, NET, and PRT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools.
  • Experience working in a school or clinical setting with early intervention programs.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation & growth opportunities based on experience and performance.
  • Eligible employees enjoy medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans, tuition discounts, and more.
  • Employee recognition programs and professional development opportunities.
