Position Summary:
We are looking for someone who is eager to provide ABA services that are kind, trauma informed, and focus on self advocacy. Candidates should be flexible, willing to work throughout DC, and available in the evenings many days of the week. The BCBA will create programming, provide supervision to clients and Behavior Technicians primarily in client homes, and train new hires virtually and in person. This position includes subbing sessions occasionally.

Clinical
Support with creating insurance renewal reports for reauthorizations etc

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, as well as others as directed by management:
Clinical
- Conduct in person supervision of staff and clients
- Observe students and update programing at least 10% of all of their hours
- Create innovative programs and initiatives
- Train family members, teachers, and other providers on implementation of behavioral interventions. Update at least once every 6 months
- Provide emergency response and crisis intervention as needed
- Conduct intake assessments and FBAs as needed
- Provide written and verbal feedback to ABA therapists at each supervision session
- Attend IEP meetings for clients as needed and collaborate with other providers as appropriate
- Sub sessions as needed Other tasks as assigned
Support with creating insurance renewal reports for reauthorizations etc
- May lead lecture style training for new hires virtually (trainings are pre-made and are 2-3 hours each)
- Shadow in person and virtually client sessions with new hires
- Master’s degree required
- BCBA credential required
- Must speak and understand English.
- Must be proficient in gsuites (gmail, google calendar, and google meet)

- Travel to client homes throughout DC, train virtually, very rarely supervise remotely. No office location.
- Business hours are M-F days a week 9:00 am to 7:30 pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm. Most sessions are between 3:30 pm and 7:30 pm
- In person supervision sessions with each client usually once or twice a month
