Purpose:

To enhance census development and increase the private pay referral base for designated senior living communities through external professional relationships, strategic marketing initiatives, and ongoing community outreach. This position operates primarily outside the facility, representing the community in the broader marketplace.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
  • Proven direct sales or business development experience with a track record of results.
  • Strong preference for experience in the senior living, healthcare, or long-term care industries.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented; able to work independently without daily supervision.
  • High level of organization and time management with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
  • Must be able to travel locally for external appointments, events, and relationship development.
  • Organized team player with the ability to multi-task in a team environment.
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular, reliable attendance.
Essential Functions:
  • Develop and maintain professional referral relationships with healthcare and senior service providers, including but not limited to:
    • Nursing homes
    • Retirement centers
    • Hospitals (discharge planners, social workers)
    • Physician offices and staff
    • Home health agencies
    • Senior centers, adult day care centers, and other community-based services
  • Actively participate in relevant local organizations to represent the community and educate stakeholders about assisted living services.
  • Develop, coordinate, and attend off-site community events, health fairs, and presentations to promote the community as a trusted expert in assisted living care.
  • Collaborate on the creation and execution of a 30/60/90-day external marketing plan with measurable goals and referral targets.
  • Build a strong referral pipeline by educating professionals and the public on the unique offerings and value of the senior living community.
  • Maintain and regularly update a database of referral contacts, tracking referral trends, conversion ratios, and lead source effectiveness.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to monitor industry trends and local opportunities for outreach.
  • Share insights, customer feedback, and referral data with leadership and collaborate on strategy to improve visibility and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional image and uphold the values and mission of the community and Sinceri Senior Living in all public-facing interactions.
