About Job

EPIC Health Partners is seeking Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC/CSAC-E) to join our growing team as group facilitators. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities across treatment settings, including in-office, virtual, and weekend-based services. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about guiding individuals through their recovery journey.


Responsibilities

  • Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group counseling sessions using evidence-based practices
  • Support clients in developing and implementing treatment goals
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, and EHP standards
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors and program directors to ensure quality care
  • Provide crisis support and service coordination as needed
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of substance use disorders and relapse prevention
  • Ability to facilitate engaging, therapeutic group sessions
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Commitment to ethical, person-centered care

Available Shifts


  • Weekday availability (Monday–Friday, flexible scheduling)
  • Saturday: 6-hour on-site shift at the residential facility
  • Sunday: 90-minute virtual group session

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • CSAC or CSAC-E certification in Virginia
  • Minimum 1 year of experience providing mental health and/or addiction services in individual, family, or group settings
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Verification of Tuberculosis (TB) screening
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered
