At Restorative Intensive Mental Health Services LLC, we are seeking a passionate Crisis Counselor who is QMHP-A or C certified to join our team and provide critical support to individuals experiencing mental health crises. As a Crisis Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering immediate interventions and short-term therapeutic services to help clients navigate and overcome their challenges.
Duties:
- Conduct crisis assessments and evaluations to determine clients' immediate needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis intervention.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and seamless service coordination.
- Assist with case management, including referral coordination, advocacy, and connecting clients to vital resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation, adhering to ethical and professional standards.
- Stay current with research and best practices related to crisis intervention and mental health treatment.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- QMHP-A or C certification with experience working in crisis intervention and mental health services.
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
- State licensure (QMHP or equivalent preferred).
- Strong background in psychotherapy, mental health assessments, and crisis management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and providing compassionate care.
