Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Drug and Alcohol Counselor with a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential to join our team. In this role, you will support individuals impacted by substance use disorders through assessment, individualized treatment planning, and ongoing counseling services. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in addiction recovery, skilled in group and individual counseling, and committed to fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, client-centered care that promotes long-term recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct substance use assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

· Provide individual and group counseling

· Deliver psychoeducation and relapse prevention strategies

· Coordinate referrals and case management services

· Maintain clear, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulations

· Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic client care

· Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and continuing education

Qualifications:

· CADC certification

· Experience working with individuals with substance use and/or co-occurring disorders

· Strong understanding of counseling theories and addiction treatment models

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care

· Bilingual abilities are a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems

· Experience in outpatient, residential, or community-based treatment settings

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
