Duties

- Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to assess their mental health needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute mental health issues
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to help clients manage symptoms and improve their overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards
- Stay current on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health counseling

Experience
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification required
- Experience working with individuals struggling with addiction and dual-diagnosis. Experience with veterans is a strong plus to an application.
- Proficiency in crisis management and intervention techniques
- Knowledge of PTSD care and treatment modalities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
