Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.

The Behavior Technician will:
  • Provide support, monitoring, direct instruction, and training using applied behavior analysis techniques, intervention strategies, coping skills, and problem-solving for students with behavioral challenges.
  • Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

  • WORKSITE: Fallbrook Stem Academy
  • WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 7.0 hours/day, 5 days/week - 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • BENEFITS: Benefits package includes, Health and Welfare, paid sick leave, vacation, and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
  • REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade; and either an Associate's Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; prior job-related experience with Applied Behavior Analysis working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disorders.
  • REQUIRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification and maintenance or obtain within the first year of employment; Maintain Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification as provided by the District, and Maintain CPR certification as provided by the District.
  • REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS (PDF):Certifications:Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and CPRLetter of Recommendation - 1 (within the last year and preferably from most recent employer)
    NCLB Compliance - Proof of degree/transcripts (if applicable)

  • A proficiency test is not required if you have an Associate or Bachelor's degree; however, proof of degree must be scanned and submitted (uploaded and attached) to your application.
  • It is the policy of this District that employment will be offered to the successful candidate contingent upon satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening test, fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI, and a current verification of a negative T.B. test or chest x-ray.
