School Social Worker - Golden, CO - Help Students Succeed!

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an exceptional and proactive School Social Worker to join our team in Golden, Colorado. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to be a crucial member of a school's support system. You will provide essential services that empower students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Individual & Group Counseling: Provide counseling to students, addressing mental health, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
• Assessment & Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop effective, data-driven intervention plans.
• Family Engagement: Collaborate with families and caregivers, connecting them with vital school and community resources.
• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to create a holistic support network for students.
• Crisis Management: Provide immediate support and guidance to students during crisis situations.
• IEP & 504 Plan Support: Participate in meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of student support plans.

Qualifications We're Looking For:

• Education: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Licensure: A valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience: Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent crisis management abilities.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with school systems, special education regulations, and community support networks.
