**We are expanding our team with a motivated and energetic Behavior Therapists in Glendale, Pasadena, and *Burbank*

Compensation: $18/hour-$23/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Job Description

  • Provides direct 1:1 services to children with autism and related disorders in the home or clinic setting under the supervision and guidance of the case specialist, supervisor, and clinical team
  • Attends scheduled team meetings, related observations, and implements behavior interventions and programs.
  • Teaching communication, self-care, social skills, etc.
  • Implements behavior intervention strategies as decided upon in team meetings and/or as directed by case specialist or supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned reasonably within the scope of a Behavior Therapist
  • Other job titles: Behavioral therapist, behavioral technician, autism technician, behavior therapist, behavior technician, behavior interventionist, BII, paraprofessional

*Over 20 Billable hours/week, after 90 days

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children.
  • BA degree in psychology, sociology, or other related field is a plus
  • RBT certification is a plus.
  • Must legally be authorized to work in the United States
  • Possesses a California driver’s license and have proof of automobile insurance.
  • Must provide verification of negative TB test and a criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25–50 pounds (ex: therapy materials, assisting clients as needed etc.)
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, or kneel frequently throughout the workday to engage with clients at their level.
  • Visual and auditory ability to observe client behavior, monitor safety, and respond promptly to needs.
  • Mobility to work in a clinical environment, including navigating between rooms and supporting clients in structured activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain energy and focus during extended interaction with clients - be able to remain physically active/engaged for the duration of therapy sessions

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
