DESCRIPTION

To provide effective leadership of the development, maintenance and provision of behavior plans and services to program participants, ensuring that behavior programs effectively promote the health, safety, personal growth and community integration of participants served, in compliance with regulations, policies, procedures and standards set by the Agency and the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS); and in a manner that meets the particular physical, social, emotional needs of participants served and maximizes cross-team collaboration, cooperation and service integration across work unit, department and organizational boundaries.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master's of Clinical Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis degree from an accredited school or an equivalent Master's degree in a human services field from an accredited school preferred. Minimum of two years of professional work experience in a clinical setting with children/adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, of which includes a minimum of 1 year of experience in behavior analysis. Certificate of status as Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Possess or acquire within first 30 days of employment, Safety Care Specialist training, approval to supervise students accruing hours towards board certification, updating as required, and approval to bill 56U funding as a Level 1 Provider through DHS.

WORK SCHEDULE

Primarily, four work days during the week for eight to ten hours per day during business/program hours, with scheduling flexibility to work variable hours as needed to effectively carry out duties and responsibilities. Acts as primary or secondary response to behavioral crisis situations.
