To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with
or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Prepares and facilitates facility in-services for new pharmacy guidelines and or operational changes
- Prepares and facilities monthly/quarterly facility training
- Back-up to Teams, as needed
- Responsible for resolution of facility phone calls
- Document issues which require follow-up/referral to compliance committee
- Directs specific pharmaceutical questions to input pharmacists
- Refers questions to appropriate department as needed
- Reports errors/potential errors to quality assurance personnel and records information on call log
- Assists with pharmacy related communications to the facilities
- Assists Consultant Pharmacists with drug destruction and cart audits
- Extensive travel to facilities and related meetings is required
- Other duties as assigned
- Participates in on-going education, including in-services and other activities, to maintain and improve

Required Work Experience:
- Three years related experience within pharmacy and/or healthcare setting and/or training
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- Position may require unscheduled overtime, week-end work
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Travel Required
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
