10-Month Position

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support high school students in planning for school coursework and post-secondary planning
• Work with the work-based learning coordinator to support work experience opportunities
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, school district partners, and other school/community staff to promote student success
• Develop and guide students in career awareness, planning, and post-secondary transitioning
• Maintain accurate transcripts and records for students in the alternative high school setting
• Develop and guide students in career awareness, planning, and post-secondary transitioning
• Provide tours and information to students, families, and districts considering placement at Evertech Academy

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• NYS Certification as a School Counselor
