School Social Worker (SSW) Full-Time Beachwood, NJ

Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a licensed and compassionate School Social Worker (SSW) for a full-time, in-person position in a supportive school district located in Beachwood, New Jersey. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact by providing essential social-emotional and mental health support to K-12 students in a traditional school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person social work services to students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges

• Conduct evaluations and create individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP and 504 goals

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success

• Participate in IEP meetings and help design effective support strategies

• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines

• Deliver counseling, crisis response, and advocacy to enhance student well-being

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program

• Valid New Jersey School Social Worker certification

• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a school-based team environment
