Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team. The PMHNP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning for patients experiencing a range of mental health conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and mental health evaluations

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare providers

• Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program

• Current and unrestricted PMHNP certification (ANCC)

• Active RN and NP license in North Carolina.

• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in psychiatry or behavioral health (preferred)

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
