About Job

ACCESS OHIO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH & PRIMARY CARE is looking for experienced, energetic Clinical Directors to provide clinical leadership for our outpatient behavioral health offices.

Position will be Full Time, Monday-Friday. 40 hours per week. Travel may be required between the offices.

The position works under the direction of the CEO and serves as part of the Access Ohio Leadership Team and shares the senior management responsibility of representing Access Ohio on a local, regional, and national basis.

The position has overall clinical, operational, supervisory and quality improvement responsibilities for all services provided within the Access Ohio’s locations and ensures that the program remains in compliance with all licensing and accreditation entities.

Experience in behavioral health and/or alcohol and drug treatment preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Requirements and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of and experience implementing evidence-based and best practice models pertaining to psycho-education, motivational interviewing, serious mental illness, addiction and recovery.
  • Designs all aspects of treatment services and establishes and maintains the therapeutic milieu for the program.
  • Attract, develop, coach, evaluate and retain high-performance team members and agency staff, empowering them to elevate their level of responsibility and performance.
  • Coordinates and facilitates team meetings.
  • Ensures one-on-one observation and safety plans for high risk clients with primary clinical staff.
  • Provide culturally informed services in accordance with Access Ohio’s policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with community organizations.
  • Ensures program documentation meets current standards and policies.
  • Compliance with all Access Ohio policy requirements

Education/ Experience/ Licenses/ Certifications:

  • Master's Degree-- knowledge equivalent to that which would be required through a formal advanced post-graduate education or training in counseling, social work
  • Minimum of five years of experience providing mental health services
  • Accepted Licensure: LPCC-S, LISW-S, LICDC-S

Job Demands:

  • Approved Ohio Department of Medicaid provider agreement prior to hire (required) and updated to include agency-level association within 3 days of hire
  • Completion of any training required within a 30-60 day period
  • Fingerprinting, criminal, abuse/neglect check
  • Drug Test

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
