Job Objective: Performs support services for the school psychologist. The support role includes completing student observations and achievement testing under the direction of the school psychologist, and with students in preschool and grades k-12.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA in education or related field preferred. BA degree in a field outside of education may be considered. You will apply for an educational aide permit
- Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
- Effective communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/conduct.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains an effective records management system. Develops essential documentation based on academic evaluations, assessment information, caseload data, etc.
- Exemplifies professionalism to enhance NwOESC and member district public images.
- Diligently attends to job details. Pursues quality work results. Performs all aspects of the job.
- Develops mutually respectful relationships with co-workers. Functions as part of a cohesive team.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record. Provides prompt notice of delays or absences.
- Maintains a professional appearance. Wears work attire appropriate for the position.
- Participates in the development of best practices and advancement of academic standards.
- Respects privacy. Resolutely maintains the confidentiality of privileged information
- Prepares and maintains accurate records. Submits required paperwork on time.
- Resolves issues tactfully. Uses active listening/problem-solving techniques. Respects diversity.
CONTRACT: Per the 2025-26 school calendar.
LOCATION: Evergreen Local Schools

SALARY: Per the adopted salary schedule based on training and experience
