About Us:

Anew Mind Behavioral Counseling is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families across New Mexico. We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and help meet the increasing demand for quality psychiatric services in our community.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a licensed and motivated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning in an outpatient setting. You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists and counselors in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Diagnose mental health conditions and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Coordinate care with therapists, primary care, and community providers
• Document patient encounters accurately using our EHR system
• Participate in case reviews and clinical team meetings

Qualifications:

• PMHNP license in New Mexico (required)
• DEA license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience with outpatient populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal, diagnostic, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
