Expected Pay Rate

  • Range: $115,000 - $172,000
  • Note: The pay range provided reflects a percentage-based compensation package. This range assumes an average weekly schedule of 20-30 clients. These figures are pre-tax and may vary based on no-shows, client cancellations, or insurance adjustments.

Position Overview

Hart NW Counseling is seeking an open-minded, counselor licensed in Oregon to join our growing team in a flexible, contracted 1099 role. This position is open to full-time hours, allowing you to choose a schedule that aligns with your availability and client needs. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or group therapy, either in-person or virtually, depending on client needs and clinician preference.
  • Utilize trauma-informed, harm reduction, and integrative therapeutic approaches such as Brainspotting, Parts Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness practices.
  • Offer preparation and integration support for clients seeking psychedelic-assisted therapy.
  • Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, contributing to a positive and supportive group culture.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain requirements for Oregon state licensure as well as related ethical responsibilities

Contractor Requirements

As a 1099 contractor, the counselor will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining their own professional liability insurance.
  • Providing electronic tools and covering internet costs for virtual sessions.
  • Maintaining electronic client records in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

  • Licensure: Licensed in the state of Oregon (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD).
  • Approach: Open to harm reduction, client-centered, and holistic approaches; comfortable working with individuals exploring non-traditional healing methods.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator who values authenticity, compassion, and humor in therapy; committed to fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic space.
  • Independence: Self-motivated with the ability to manage time, voice needs, and contribute to a fun, supportive team environment.

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience preferred, especially with trauma, addiction, and life transition cases.
  • Altered States Experience: Ability to offer preparation and integration support for clients seeking psychedelic-assisted therapy.
  • Education: Training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
