School Psychologist Needed | Rochester City School District Rochester, NY | Full-Time

Sunbelt Staffing is currently hiring a full-time School Psychologist to support the Rochester City School District for the current academic year. This on-site position serves K12 students and plays a key role in supporting academic, behavioral, and emotional development.

Position Overview:
The School Psychologist will work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to complete evaluations, provide counseling, and guide interventions in both general and special education settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments (academic, cognitive, behavioral)

• Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings

• Deliver individual and small-group counseling

• Support RTI/MTSS frameworks and behavior plans

• Consult with staff and families to address student needs

• Maintain compliance with district and state documentation standards

Requirements:

• Valid New York School Psychologist Certification

• Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology

• School-based experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and IEPs

• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Full-time, MondayFriday
