Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate has a strong background in student counseling and a proven ability to guide high school students through the college admissions process. You will play a central role in helping students evaluate academic options, select colleges, access scholarships, and plan for their future.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students in academic, personal, and career development.
Provide expert guidance on college admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions.
Assist with course selection, graduation planning, and summer school arrangements.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student needs.
Maintain accurate student records and provide timely documentation.
Facilitate student and parent orientations.
Serve as a liaison between students, parents, school staff, and external organizations.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling or related field.
Florida DOE Certification in Guidance preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
Strong understanding of high school graduation requirements and college readiness.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting salary: $50,500+
