Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Counselor for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate has a strong background in student counseling and a proven ability to guide high school students through the college admissions process. You will play a central role in helping students evaluate academic options, select colleges, access scholarships, and plan for their future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in academic, personal, and career development.
  • Provide expert guidance on college admissions, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions.
  • Assist with course selection, graduation planning, and summer school arrangements.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student needs.
  • Maintain accurate student records and provide timely documentation.
  • Facilitate student and parent orientations.
  • Serve as a liaison between students, parents, school staff, and external organizations.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Counseling or related field.
  • Florida DOE Certification in Guidance preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of high school graduation requirements and college readiness.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and care.

Compensation and Benefits:
