Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will assess student needs, participate in IEP development, and collaborate with educators and families to promote success and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete psychoeducational assessments and prepare clear reports
Support eligibility determination and help develop IEP goals
Participate in MTSS/RTI problem-solving teams
Provide short-term counseling and crisis support when needed
Consult with teachers and staff on behavior and learning strategies
Maintain documentation in line with district and state regulations
Required Qualifications:
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
Active New Jersey School Psychologist Certification (DOE)
Experience with special education processes and behavioral interventions
Familiarity with FBA, BIP, and IEP development
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
