Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and a passion for working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize Applied Behavior Analysis techniques to implement effective interventions tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management strategies and best practices.
- Stay current with developments in the field of ABA and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with medical documentation practices is essential.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient confidentiality and record keeping.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
