Position Overview:

Looking for a meaningful role in education? Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Behavior Technician to support students in Palos Verdes, CA during the new school year. In this role, youll work closely with school staff and students to provide consistent behavioral support in a structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct behavioral support to students in classroom and one-on-one settings

• Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA or school supervision

• Collect data on student progress and document behavioral outcomes

• Assist in developing strategies that promote positive behavior and social skills

• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to maintain a consistent support system

• Support students in accessing academic curriculum and achieving IEP/504 goals

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

• Ability to follow behavior plans consistently and accurately

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

• RBT certification is a plus, but not required
