A rapidly growing company founded by psychiatrist Dr. Pari Deshmukh (Dr. Desh), Balanced Wellbeing LLC, is offering work opportunities to LCSW/LHMC. It is ideal for those who want to learn and excel in how to practice counseling in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Qualifications:

• Active LMHC, LCSW or LMFT FL License
• Clear on Level 2 screening (background check as per AHCA requirements)
• Peer references (3) are required (LCSW/LHMC or PsyD or PhD).
• Good communication and computer skills are must.
• Candidates must be a team player.

Job Responsibility:

• Performing psychological assessments on mostly geriatric patients, providing psychotherapy as needed, and make referrals to psych med mgmt. as appropriate.
• Ability to make rounds, going from room to room, communicating to patients and facility staff members is required.

Work Hours:

• Monday through Friday. No formal on call duty.
