Position: 1.00 FTE School Social Worker
Location: Wayne Technical and Career Center (WTCC), Williamson, NY
Salary Range: $51,163 - $60,059, based on experience and demonstrated abilities. Benefits include paid holidays & leave time, NYS retirement, and health & dental insurance.

Depending on location, this position may involve direct work with students with autism, emotional and/or developmental disabilities which may include, but are not limited to, oppositional and aggressive behaviors; mood disorders; and potentially severe and unpredictable physical and/or verbal outbursts. School Social Workers are expected to
•Ability to work with a diverse population of students.
•Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning.
•Provide targeted interventions to teach social, emotional, behavioral regulation.
•Provide group and/or individual counseling using evidence-based interventions.
•Gather data, create Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans.
•Collaborate and consult with community-based providers, parents, component districts, colleagues and provide resources to meet student learning needs.
•Communicate regularly and effectively with stakeholders.
•Record and report student progress.
