Salary: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00

Your Role as a Clinical Psychologist

  • Support Families Through Counseling & Education - Provide family counseling, support, and education to help caregivers better understand and assist their children's developmental and emotional needs.
  • Offer Classroom & Crisis Support - Consult with classroom teams and provide crisis management services to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Conduct & Supervise Assessments - Perform and oversee psychological assessments to determine students' needs and strengths, guiding intervention planning.
  • Document Student Needs & Progress - Prepare written reports outlining students' needs, treatment strategies, goals, and objectives; maintain accurate progress records.
  • Collaborate Across Teams - Actively participate in IRB committees, interdisciplinary team meetings, clinical team meetings, and Greenspan meetings to ensure coordinated care.
  • Provide Staff Training - Deliver psychoeducational training to staff members as needed to support student success and professional growth.
  • Develop Emotional Learning Curriculum - Contribute to the creation and implementation of social-emotional curriculum that supports students' development.
  • Stay Current in the Field - Attend staff development sessions and continuing education programs to maintain professional competence.
  • Mentor Future Psychologists - Supervise and train psychology students to support their clinical development and professional readiness.


Qualifications:

  • Ph.D/Psy.D in Clinical, Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Valid NYS License and State Certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional working relationships with students, staff, and parents.
