Social Worker, MST Therapist, MSW

JAFCO, a nonprofit children’s organization, seeks Social Workers / MST Therapists with a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy to provide intensive in-home therapy and family support services for children and adolescents in our care. These Social Worker positions are based at our Children’s Village in Sunrise, FL, supporting our MST and Family Preservation programs

In this role, you will earn $55,000 or more per year, depending on your experience. Plus, you will enjoy a generous benefits package that includes:

As a Social Worker with JAFCO, you will serve as the child and family’s clinician and advocate, facilitating the highest quality of care and therapeutic services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing intensive in-home MST treatment for adolescent cases.
  • Attending weekly individual and team supervision meetings to support clinical growth.
  • Conducting initial intakes, assessments, and treatment planning.
  • Providing on-call crisis support one week per month.
  • Facilitating support groups, supervised visitation, and family education sessions.
  • Collaborating with caregivers, schools, courts, and other community partners to ensure systemic support for clients.
  • Maintaining clear and timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and MST standards.

Our Clinical Team works full-time, with some evenings and weekends required to best serve our families. To qualify for these Social Worker positions, you must:

  • Have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • Have experience treating serious antisocial behavior in youth and working with families in community-based or mental health setting.
  • Be familiar with mental health diagnoses, behavioral challenges, substance use, and trauma-related issues
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record. Candidates with bodily injury liability coverage of $100k/$300k on their personal automobile are preferred.
  • Be able to travel to client homes across the tri-county area.
