About Job

Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the LPN/RN will work in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. The LPN/RN will work on a Full-time basis out of Helio Health’s Binghamton Evaluation Center. 

 

Schedule: 8/10/12 hour shifts available and must be available every other weekend. 

 

In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, all Full-Time LPN/RN's are eligible for a Sign-On incentive of $4000 or $8000 based on licensure.

 

Pay rate:  $30.25 - $40.00 per hour. 

Responsibilities

  • Works in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.  
  • Provide client services for medical issues.
  • Monitors and documents clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director.  
  • Works with other medical staff for continuity of clients’ medical care.  
  • Communicates with clinical staff regarding clients’ medical concerns.  
  • Works directly with clients in providing medical services and interpreting medical information.  
  • Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law.  
  • Provides public health and screening protocols.  
  • Provides and documents medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements   

Qualifications

  • Must be a licensed practical nurse/registered nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.  
  • Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred.  
  • Basic computer skills required.
