About Job
The Child Psychiatrist (MD/DO) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental illnesses in children, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and care.
- Provides psychotherapy, medication management, and hospitalization as needed.
- Conducts psychiatric assessments, develops personalized treatment plans, and monitors patient progress.
- Supervises physician assistants and team members.
- Prescribes and adjusts psychopharmacological medications.
- Requires board certification in adult psychiatry, 3-5 years of experience, and ASD specialization is a plus.
- Must be fluent in electronic record keeping, CPR/First Aid certified, and have a valid DEA.
- Preferred bilingual in English/Spanish and valid driver’s license with insurance.
