ABA Classroom Management Systems has expanded to add individualized student behavior supports to our provided services!. Introducing our sister company, Waves of ABA. At Waves of ABA, led by a BCBA, we specialize in collaborating with school districts to provide customized behavior support services for individual students.   • Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Job Description:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Waves of ABA, you will play a pivotal role in implementing behavior intervention plans and providing direct support to students within school settings.

Key Responsibilities for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):

  • Support classroom staff in implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision.
  • Collect accurate data using specified ABA measures outlined in the BIP.
  • Collaborate effectively with school personnel to build positive relationships and establish rapport.
  • Model behavior intervention strategies as outlined, providing guidance to support staff.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards set by the BACB.
  • Adhere to all district and school site regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience supporting students in school settings.
  • Experience with autism or related developmental disabilities preferred.
  • Willingness to work closely with students and support their behavioral and educational needs under BCBA guidance.
  • Current RBT certification (or awaiting exam results).
