Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, providing support through behavioral therapy techniques. Your primary focus will be on implementing treatment plans, conducting patient assessments, and documenting progress to enhance the quality of care for our clients.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate behaviors and progress.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective treatment strategies.
- Provide direct support to clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Utilize medical terminology appropriately when documenting patient care and progress.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy.
Requirements
- Spanish highly recommended.
- Car insurance is required for this position.
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with medical records and documentation processes.
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and patient assessment methods.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and families.
- Ability to work compassionately and patiently with children and adults in various settings.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of care.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
