We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Academic Counselor to join our on-site team. This role plays a key part in maintaining effective communication with students and parents, coordinating academic schedules, and providing tailored support throughout each student’s educational journey.

Position Summary

The Academic Counselor serves as the primary liaison between students, families, and the school. This role involves developing individualized academic plans, monitoring progress, coordinating with teachers, and ensuring that academic services are delivered effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for students and their families
  • Create and manage personalized academic schedules and planning timelines
  • Track student progress and provide regular updates and recommendations to families
  • Collaborate with instructors and administrative staff to support course implementation
  • Provide ongoing support in academic operations and logistical coordination
  • Participate in school events, family consultations, and student engagement activities
  • Stay informed on academic advising practices and education trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in Education, Counseling, or a related field)
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (both spoken and written)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Prior experience in academic advising, counseling, or education services is preferred
  • Positive, professional attitude with a student-centered mindset
