My client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join their pediatric therapy team across multiple Florida locations, including Bonita Springs, Naples, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Port Charlotte. The BCBA will design, implement, and supervise individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs. This role involves clinical assessments, treatment planning, team training, and family collaboration to promote meaningful and lasting progress.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R), and intake evaluations. Develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Supervise and provide clinical oversight of ABA services delivered by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed. Mentor and support RBTs in delivering behavior plans and skill acquisition programs. Provide parent and caregiver training for skill generalization across settings. Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, and insurance updates. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs).
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Current BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 1–2 years of experience providing ABA services to children (preferably in clinical or center-based settings). Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with early intervention models and natural environment teaching (NET). Experience supervising RBTs and leading ABA teams. Bilingual ability is a plus. Proficiency with electronic data collection systems (e.g., ReThink, CentralReach, Catalyst).
