- JOB SUMMARY
- As an employee of Trinity Health System, it is the responsibility of this and all positions within the Hospital to support the mission and role of Trinity Health System. In addition, this position will actively support the Hospital's Strategic Plan in the areas of People, Service, Quality, Finance and Growth, in a team based environment. The employee also performs all job duties in compliance with laws and regulation in the observance of accrediting agency standards. The Clinical Counselor is responsible for providing individual, group therapy, family therapy, psychosocial assessment and discharge planning for the patients in the Out Patient/Inpatient Mental Health Department. In addition, the Clinical Counselor administers psychological testing, prepares reports for the Medical Record and provides counseling services the Employee Assistance Program.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- Education
- Masters Degree in Psychology, Clinical Counseling or Social Work
- Training and Experience
- Two (2) years experience in Mental Health counseling preferred and Board Certified or Board Certified eligible.
