Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health services to individuals and families. This role requires expertise in various therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The LCSW will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support clients dealing with diverse challenges, including autism spectrum disorders and other mental health issues.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic services through individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
• Implement evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and crisis intervention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, schools, and community organizations to coordinate care for clients.
• Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and contribute to the field of social work.
• Offer Christian counseling as appropriate, respecting the diverse beliefs of clients.
• Provide home community care services when necessary, ensuring client comfort and safety.

Experience

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the relevant state is mandatory.
• Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or related developmental disorders is preferred.
• Proficiency in managing medical records and understanding clinical research methodologies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds are essential.
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is beneficial.
