Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Locations (FQHC/CCBHC Sites):

  • Euclid Family Health Center: 286 S. Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114
  • King Chavez Health Center: 950 S. Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92114
  • El Cajon Health Center: 875 El Cajon Blvd, El Cajon, CA 92020 (FQHC & CCBHC)
  • Otay Health Center: 1637 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91911
  • San Ysidro Health Center: 4004 Beyer Boulevard, San Ysidro, CA 92173

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Hybrid role: 3 days/week in-office (potential to reduce to 2 days/week onsite)

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • LMFTs will not be considered
  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Experience outside of licensure is preferred but not required

Role Highlights:

  • Fast-paced outpatient behavioral health setting
  • Diverse patient population: predominantly low-income, geriatric, adolescents & adults (adult population prioritized)
  • Average 12 therapy sessions/day (mix of 1-hour and 30-minute visits)
  • Monthly, not weekly visits in many cases
  • Mix of in-person and telehealth sessions

Service Levels:

  • FQHC Clinics:
    • Focus on mild to moderate mental health concerns
    • Session structure:
      • Intakes: 1 hour
      • Adults: 30-minute follow-ups
      • Children: 45-minute visits
    • 11–12 sessions/day
    • High need: Therapists for children age 5+, especially under 10
  • CCBHC Clinics:
    • Focus on moderate to severe concerns
    • Weekly therapy sessions
    • 45-minute appointments, :9 per day
    • High need: Therapists experienced with pregnant/post-partum patients

Additional Notes:

  • All San Ysidro Health sites are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSA)
  • Eligible for state and federal loan repayment programs
